WELCOME!
Stars mean a lot to me. I lost my sister when I was seven and someone, probably my parents, told me I could talk to her via her star (which I now know is, in fact, the North star - but hey at least I can always find her!).
I know that this is not uncommon. A lot of people talk to the stars, to people they've lost via the sky. Whether that's connected to ideas of heaven or not. I think it brings us comfort that in the darkest times they come out to comfort us.
I once told someone I loved who lived far away to remember that "The stars are far away, but we can still see them. You and I probably see some of the same stars, at the same moment. So we can't really be so far apart."
I guess as Christmas draws closer and people start to feel lonelier - I wanted to share this thought because it gets darker earlier and maybe it will comfort someone... that each night, there are hundreds, thousands of people looking at the same sky as you.
You are not alone - and I for one will be hoping the stars reflect my love and comfort back to anyone of you who needs it.
